Delving deeper into the data, house sales saw a 2.5 percent uptick compared to the previous week, while land sales surged by 47.8 percent. However, unit sales remained consistent with the previous week.

This decline can be attributed to decreases across various property types, including a 6 percent drop in house listings, a 3.1 percent decrease in unit listings, and a 2 percent reduction in listings for vacant land. However, the total figure of properties available for sale last week was 1.4 percent higher than four weeks ago, yet still significantly lower, by 43.6 percent, compared to levels observed a year ago.

In Perth's rental market, a total of 2,096 properties available for rent at the end of last week, indicating a similar figure to the previous week. However, there was a notable increase in rental listings compared to both four weeks ago, with a 13.3 percent rise, and a year ago, with a 4.4 percent increase.
