Sales transactions in Perth last week declined by 24 percent compared to the previous week, amounting to 727 transactions. A detailed breakdown reveals that house sales were down by 33.3 percent, unit sales decreased by 22.4 percent, while land sales surged by 71.9 percent.

This rise can be attributed to a 7 percent increase in house listings, a 3 percent increase in unit listings, and a 11.5 percent decrease in listings for vacant land compared to the week prior.

The total number of properties available for sale last week saw a decrease of 7.9 percent compared to four weeks ago and a significant drop of 45.8 percent compared to the levels observed a year ago.

In Perth's rental market, a total of 1,963 properties were available for rent at the end of last week, marking a 6.1 percent increase compared to the previous week. Moreover, last week's rental listings figure surged by 9.1 percent compared to four weeks ago but saw a slight decrease of 1.6 percent compared to the listings observed a year ago.
